Blended Seasons Fall about You

Blended Seasons is only going to be around until the end of August (so only a few days). The bundle is so beautiful with framelits and a stamp set.

Card Basics:
Cardbase (Old Olive) 8 1/2" X 5 1/2", score at 4 1/4" along the long side. Fold into a top hinge card.
Background piece & inside piece (Very Vanilla) Make two: 5 1/4" x 4"
Greeting piece (Old Olive & Very Vanilla) 3" x 2"

Stamp Set: Blended Seasons & Picture Perfect Birthday (if birthday greetings are desired)

Using Stazon ink stamp the leaves in a couple locations on the card front (and once on the piece for inside).

Use Night of Navy ink to stamp a greeting on the piece for inside.

Add color to the leaves using "fall colors" from the watercolor pencils. Shown Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze, and Crushed Curry.

My tip for watercolor pencils is to put color along the "veins" of the leaves, then pull the color from the veins using a blender pen.

This will give you a soft watercolor look easily.

After you have colored the leaves in, use SNAIL or your favorite adhesive to attach the background piece to the card front and the piece for the inside.

Stamp your greeting for the front onto a scrap piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.

Run the greeting piece and a scrap piece of Old Olive through the Big Shot with the oval framelits.

Adhere the greeting onto the scalloped piece.

Put dimensionals on the back of the greeting embellishment and attach to the card front.
