Bright Flowers and Spring!

I know if I were just a little patient then Spring would be here, but I can't wait so I made my own bright flowers! It is a snap with the Bloomin' Botanicals framelit dies! You can stamp and cut or in my case, just cut and layer to add realistic looking blossoms. This card could be used for so many upcoming occasions, such as Mother's Day, a birthday, or just thinking of you! I love the bright colors I used, but as you know, it is easy to use the same layout but change up the colors to create a completely different looking card. I'd love to see what you create!

On standard left folding card base cut down 2" and over 4 1/4" to shorten the front flap of the card base.

Ink up the Hardwood stamp (Sahara Sand) and with a scrap piece of paper inserted to protect the cardbase, stamp on shortened card front (Crumb Cake).

Adhere a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock inside the cardbase to use for greeting stamp or a personal message.

Lay the doily face up inside the card to center and position up and down. Add glue dots at just below center and one at bottom on the doily. Close card and adhere to back of front flap.

Cut four leaves (Old Olive) using the Botanical Builders framelits. Cut two flowers (one large and one small) in each color.

Arrange leaves along the top of the shortened front flap an adhere with SNAIL or Glue Dots.

Using glue dots to attach, layer the small flower on top of the larger flower. Add dimensional to back of larger flower and add three different color blossoms to front of card on top of leaves.

Stamp greeting on narrow piece of cardstock, using Bitty Banner punch clip one end. Add a Glue Dot and tuck greeting banner under a flower.
