July is Birthday month!

My birthday is in July!

For the last couple of weeks, I've been sharing the pretty birthday cards I've been receiving!

Today is no different!

I'm showing a beautiful card in a beautiful style, different than my own.

Hope you like it as well as I do!

Brilliant Wings

The first card I'm showing is from my friend Pat M!

She makes amazing cards!

There are so many beautiful areas of interest that all blend together to make an outstanding card!

She started the card off with one of the gorgeous In Colors that was introduced in May.

The cardstock is Evening Evergreen. It is a rich spruce color.

She did exactly as I do when I use a dark colored cardbase; she added a neutral piece of cardstock inside the card for the greeting.

The gorgeous Expressions in Ink paper cut to 4" x 5 1/4" was used as the background.

This paper is so popular that they are having trouble keeping it in stock.

At the moment the paper isn't orderable until another shipment comes in. The most current information says it is suppose to be available the first week of August.

This paper is special because it has gold foil accents printed directly on the paper.

Another feature of the background is a 1 1/2" X 5 1/4" panel of Pale Papaya cardstock that has been die cut using a retired floral border die.

This gives a crisp cut-out floral pattern for the right side of the card.

Pat tied a delicate bow using Pale Papaya sheer ribbon.

The feature on the card front is a butterfly cut from copper foil paper using a Brilliant Wings dies and the circle swirl from the Painted Labels dies

There are sparkly sequins from the Expressions in Ink Ephemera Pack on the paper piece for an added touch of shine.

She stamped a simple Happy Birthday greeting in Evening Evergreen ink on Pale Papaya cardstock panel that is 2" x 1/4".

So many beautiful features! All I can say is:

Wow! What a card!
