Thoughtfully pretty Spring card idea

Recently I gathered with a group of my stamping friends and this is the card I presented for everyone to make. It goes back to old school stamping basics. Stamps, Ink, Paper! Using a few colors on one card draws your eye into the feature panel. Small details like pearls and scalloped ribbon add interest. This is a fun card to experiment with your favorite color combinations!

Card Basics:
Cardbase (Mint Macaron) 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", folded to a left fold side opening card front
Accent layer (Highland Heather) 4" x 4"
Feature layer (Whisper White) approx 3 3/4" x 3 1/4"

Stamp greeting inside card using Highland Heather ink.

Add small flower accents near greetings using Seaside Spray ink.

Stamp small flower in a pleasing pattern at the bottom of the card front using Seaside Spray ink

Stamp two vine sprays in a diagonal using Mint Macaron ink on your White cardstock.

Stamp a greeting in the upper left corner of the white cardstock piece also using Mint Macaron ink.

Stamp berries onto the vines using Highland Heather ink.

Stamp little flowers onto the vines using Seaside Spray ink.

Stamp three flowers onto the Highland Heather cardstock piece (in far enough to be punched without showing) using Highland Heather ink.

Use punch to remove the little flowers from the cardstock piece.

Important tip: stamp the flowers in a direction that allows the punch to reach. I typically put the five petal stamp with a single petal at the 90 degree position.

Start assembling the card:

Adhere the White piece to the Highland Heather piece (making sure to cover the holes from the punched out flowers) using SNAIL or your favorite adhesive

Putting a Glue Dot on the end of a 4 1/4" long piece of ribbon attach one end on the back of the Highland Heather piece. Wrap the ribbon across the front and using a Glue Dot attach the other end to the back of the piece in a straight line.

Use dimensionals to attach the entire layered Highland Heather piece to the top while centering it on three sides.

Finishing touch:

Using a Dimensional on the back of each of the flowers attach them to the spray of flowers in a loose pattern.

Apply a small pearl to the center of each flower
