Wedding Wishes fancy fold

This card was designed for one of my two monthly swaps. Our theme was Fancy Folds. A fancy fold is anything other than a traditional top fold or left fold card. I decided to do an easel fold but I wanted to use the new Detailed Floral framelits to create a lovely edge on two sides of the card. I used the coordinating stamp set for the sentiment on the outside and the greetings in the card. All the flowers just seemed to need a butterfly or two, so I added a large on on the outside and used a tiny one as the "stop" for the easel. Be sure to read more for all the directions to make one of your own.

Card Base (Pear Pizzazz): 4 1/4" x 11". Fold in half and then fold the top in half.

Card Topper (Whisper White): 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".

Run the card base through the Big Shot with the larger of the two Detailed Dies on the piece that will be the "base" of the card. Keep die straight while cutting.

Run the Whisper White card topper through the Big Shot with the smaller of the two Detailed Dies.

Run a piece of Sweet Sugarplum cardstock through the Big Shot with the medium butterfly framelit.

Using Pear Pizzazz, Sweet Sugarplum, and Peekaboo Peach markers to color on the border stamp in the stamp set. Stamp along bottom edge of Whisper White cardstock.

Stamp Wedding Wishes with Archival Black ink just above border on the left side.

Using Archival Black ink stamp the greetings inside the Pear Pizzazz cardbase (just above the detailed cutouts).

Wrap a piece of Sweet Sugarplum ribbon around the top 1/3 of the card front (just below the cutout). Attach each end at the back of the panel with a glue dot.

Using a glue dot attach the butterfly onto the front of the card.

Using Tear & Tape attach the top panel to the folded bottom panel. Put one piece at each back bottom corner of the white panel and put one piece at each top corner of the folded top panel. Use bottom and side of card to line top panel to bottom panel before pressing into place.

Stamp a bitty butterfly in Sweet Sugarplum ink and punch with the Bitty Butterfly punch. Use half of a dimensional to attach the butterfly about 1/2 way up the cut-out bottom portion of the card.
