Butterfly gala swap crp

I created a bright and sunny Butterfly Gala card to use as a swap with other Demonstrators when I attended a Stampin' Up! convention in Minneapolis, MN. It was a wonderful weekend of fun and education! I got to see some of my stamping friends that I only talk to online. So that makes it extra special. We also were able to gather for a nice dinner and to visit a little more before we all started heading for home.

Card Basics:
Cardbase (Pool Party) 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2" and folded for a top fold base
Accent stripe (Daffodil Delight) 1 1/2" x 4"
Accent circle (Poppy Parade)
Butterflies (Daffodil Delight) approx 2" x 2 1/2"

Prepare the card base. Add accent stripe at just under half way up card front.

Punch a Poppy Parade circle and attach to the center top of a pearlized doily using SNAIL. Attach the combined doily to the center of the accent stripe.
.

Stamp butterflies using Black ink on Daffodil Delight cardstock.

Punch the butterflies out.

Using mini dimensionals attach the large butterfly to the doily accent and attach the mini butterfly to the bottom of the card

Stamp a greeting to the outside of the card base and add a rhinestone accent to the larger butterfly.
