Marelle's Rip and Flip Technique

Rip and flip technique

Oh man! Once I spotted this technique I knew my Christmas card worries were over! I was woefully behind on the hundreds of cards I needed to have mailed by mid December until I visited one of my favorite blogger's website - Marelle Taylor. She was showing a Christmas version of her Rip and Flip Technique. She had apparently shown the technique on her blog earlier in an all-occasions version but I somehow missed it. I think it is one of those you are given what you need when you need it situations. Check out the easy directions.

Joyful Season

2015 12 05 01.47.20

It is a joyful season when one can gather with family and friends to celebrate the birth of Jesus! But, when we can't gather it is equally joyful to spend a few minutes to create a card that can be mailed across the miles to let that far away loved know how special they are to you! This beautiful cardinal card does just that! The two-step stamp creates the illusion that you have watercolored the cardinal but takes care of the job in a quick and easy stamp of ink! This card can extend past the Christmas season by using different greetings and making it a birthday or thinking of you card instead.

Swap Card 3

This is the third Swap Card that I prepared to swap with other demonstrators for the Milwaukee OnStage Local convention. This is a classic layout in a simple color palette that gets all it's WOW from the layered punched embellishments.

Swap Card 2

This was the second of three swap cards that I prepared for the Milwaukee OnStage Local convention. I saw a similar card on Pinterest done in non-Stampin' Up product. I also added some simple embellishments to dress the card up a little. This could easily be used as a sympathy card if needed.

Treat holder in a flash

Treat bags

This is the treat holder I put together for my car roomies to and from Milwaukee last weekend. Super simple, but oh so elegant! You might use for a bridal shower or ultra feminine birthday treat.

Flurry of Wishes for Christmas

Lb oct swap

If you love snowflakes on your cards and not on your sidewalks then this is the project for you! Shades of blue with lots of glimmer, sparkle, and shine. Stamping the greeting on a vellum banner adds a special touch. I plan to use this color combination and stamp set for several projects this card making season.
