Petal Potpourri Thanks Card |

T his is a card I designed using a few new products. I love the new Hello You Thinlets so I knew I needed to use one of those on something! Also, the new Petal Potpourri stamp set and coordinating punch are so much fun! I loved one of the samples in the catalog so it was my inspiration. We all have plenty of people who deserve our thanks, so hopefully you will share this with someone special.
Supplies needed:

Project Recipe:

Cardbase (Smoky Slate): Cut to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and score at 4 1/2" along the 8 1/2" side. Fold in half.

Bottom layer (Crisp Cantaloupe). Cut to 2 1/2" x 5". Run through the Big Shot with the Large Polka Dot embossing folder.
Top layer (Whisper White).Cut to 1 1/2" x 5".

Thanks: Using a scrap piece of Lost Lagoon cardstock (approx 1 1/2" x 5") run through the Big Shot using the thanks thinlet die from the Hello You set.
Adhere to cardstock using transfer adhesive sheet.

To build the layers, adhere Hello Honey ribbon at the top of the Crisp Canteloupe layer using glue dots. Using dimensionals layer the Whisper White at the top and layer the thanks onto the Whisper White overlapping the Hello Honey ribbon slightly.

Ink the Doily stamp from the Petal Potpourri stamp set with Smoky Slate ink on a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock. Stamp two Doilies. Punch using the Flower Medallion punch. Cut one doily in half along narrow petal. Cut second doily with one large petal in the center and two smaller petals at side. Adhere the twin doily pieces at each side and use dimensionals to pop-up the smaller doily piece in the center.
