Oh what fun it is!

Six months from today will be Christmas Eve! It seems like a lot of time, but there are things you can do ahead of time that will let you have the most fun on those special days! You don't want to try and make cards or worse yet, give up because you just don't have anytime to make anything! Christmas in July card making events were born to help us with our cardmaking and we figured we weren't the only ones!

Our thoughts are: Start now, get done early, and enjoy more time with the special people in our lives when the Holidays roll around!

Glamper Holiday card idea by Teri K, Stamping Sister 2017

There are three of us who stamp together, so we call ourselves the Stamping Sisters. The group was started by Teri of Folded Hugs. She presented this card idea at our first Christmas in July event.

She choose the fun and versatile stamp set Glamper! As you can see, it makes a cute Christmas card, but you can doll up the camper in several Holiday themes or just doll up the siding to use this time of year! Guests were able to add their own soft watercolor highlights and a few pine boughs using the Pretty Pines Thinlet Dies.

The basics of this card include:

  • Cardbase (Whisper White) 11" x 5 1/2" folded in half  along the 11" side for a top fold.
  • Cardbase Accent (Cherry Cobbler) 5 1/4" x 4" embossed with the Woodland Textured embossing folder
  • Focal Point Accent layer (Old Olive) 4 1/4" x 3 1/4"
  • Focal Point stamped layer (watercolor paper) 4" x 3"

If you want to join in the Fun and get some of your Christmas card making done too, get yourself set up with some tools and supplies now and

Watch for more Christmas in July ideas the rest of this month!
